Lets share Christmas ideas

I've done pot holders and placemats in the past. Still contemplating on what I will do this year. Looking at maybe pillow cases or big round animal pillows for the grandchildren.
For my daughters still thinking on it.

I made purses/tote bags out of christmas/halloween/autum tapesty placemats that I purchase after the holidays when they are on clearence and save them till the next year.
I'v bought some table cloths from walmart after christmas last year for $2 and I'm going to embroidery with my machine some white designs for these tables cloths are christmas red.
I also like to make gingerbread dolls and santa dolls when I have time and I've made 50 Christmas pillowcases for out local hosiptal

Not up to planning for this year yet. But one year I bought on sale really nice cloth dinner napkins and embroidered a large last initial in the corner diagonally. I then made individual little individual Butter Pecan cakes, wrapped then in saran wrap and then wrapped them in the initialled napkin. The monogrammed napkin can be used year round as a bread basket cover.

I will include a mug and packet of cocoa mix. I make my own cocoa mix and add a baggie of mini marshmallows. I also dehydrate my own marshmallows. Do you think that will be OK?

I thought I would make a woven basket for my husbands aunt that is 91 and lives alone. I plan on putting note cards, various birthday cards, anniversary cards etc in it along with some stamps. Not sure about the rest of the family. Better get going if it is going to be quilts!
