My son and daughter both want a mariners compass quilt. You would think with all the patterns I have around here I could find one, but no luck. Any suggestions where to get a pattern that is not too hard to follow? Any help would be great.

I downloaded my paper pieced pattern from http://www.bearpawproductions.com/ - it was so easy, my DH who doesn't sew did one  You can see mine here: http://www.quiltingboard.com/posts/list/6069.page and DH's here: http://www.quiltingboard.com/posts/list/6146.page

Of course you can't go wrong with anything Carol Doak does. I love her stuff and it is great for beginning and advanced. I have made many of her blocks in sizes as small as 4 inches, I think the only difference in beginning and advanced foundation piecers is the size of the pieces they deal with and the number of pieces in a block. My Opinion Anyway.
