Thanks so much to all those that took the time to reply. I can always count on QB members for information.
Lots of differing opinions but I think you could sell runners made from this pattern.
I didn't realize it at the time, but I went back to the site where I found my inspiration pic and it is a runner for sale on etsy, so apparently people are selling projects made from the pattern.

That pattern is free on Quiltbug. I'm sure as a free download, it is meant to shared. You only made yours scrappy instead of two colors.
