I made this many years ago for my first grand-daughter.....I'm still waiting for my grand-daughter.
I've been blessed with two wonderful grand-sons (8 and 9)....so I'm thinking it's about time to give this quilt a new home.
This is the fabric that I was in search of...I wanted to finish up the pillow sham...and thankfully, **oksewglad** had the yellow calico and I found the purple print on another site.
So, 15 years later, my ufo pillow sham is finally completed and this fine set will go to our local hospital for a young girl to have.

Either way, I know I've been overly blessed with two wonderful grandsons.

Really cute quilt. I did the same thing when my DIL was pregnant for the first time. I made an adorable quilt for a little girl because I have always wanted a granddaughter. Well, it's 22 years later and I still would love to have a granddaughter, but it won't be happening. I have four wonderful grandson who I love dearly. But it's not nearly as much fun sewing for them as it would be for a granddaughter.
