How about a nice dinner out? Or you could take her on a sewing retreat for a couple of days.

Or do you? Mom used to make "coupons" as gifts, an evening of babysitting, a jar of homemade jam, a loaf of homemade bread, an afternoon of cleaning, a homemade dinner, etc. because she didn't go shopping. If you know of something that she has to do that she doesn't like, perhaps you could do it for her for a day or a week.

With four kids and a busy life she probably would love a little pampering. A massage, mani-pedi, facial... I have a bucket list and my family went to it for my 60th birthday and got me a hot air balloon ride!! I'm waiting for the weather to stay nice to take advantage of that. We live 20 minutes from Napa and this includes a champagne breakfast afterwards. Can't wait!! Good luck. Tell us what you decide.

I agree with AnnaK, but arrange things so you can go with your sister to be pampered. It will be the best day EVER!
