Ooooh, I could have fun with this one! Lace, rick-rack, ribbon, yo-yo's, hexagons, maybe cute fabric letters and spell out her name going diagonally in the center of the quilt, a letter in each block?! Have fun!

I'm wondering how heavy the "weighted" blanket needs to be. My SIL has made several quilts from blue jeans, and only used flannel on the back, and it was tied. Having slept under one of them, it was quite heavy. To girl it up, do you have any pretty jean pockets with embroidery on them, or maybe you could embroider some of the pieces. Also, a pretty, feminine print in flannel would be great.

So many wonderful ideas!! Every hint is so helpful as I will probably be making more of these as time goes by. This girl stuff is new to me since my kids and grandkids are all boys! Thank you all!

There is one shown on Turquoise 210's site. It's a rag quilt made of denim and has Tatty Teddy embroideries randomly placed. It is so sweet but I could be biased because I'm mad about Tatty Teddy.
