Is it ok to use the fabric from an old (5 years old or so) flannel nightgown for rag quilts or even as batting for projects. It seems like such a waste of material to throw it away, just because the sleeve is ripped. And it's good quality.....I think I got it at LL Bean. Just was wondering your opinions.
