I ave a few of her books and please don't be shy of trying any of them. They look complicated but are really not if your read the directions completely and follow her steps. The one thing I did find to be awkward was figuring out the fabric for one block to try as a test. Her patterns call for cutting an entire quilt which I never do. Once you get into the pattern you see how easy they really are. Be organized and label your pieces.

I took one of her patterns and made this little wall hanging as a practice piece when I first started to try her patterns.
I will use her books many times to make some beautiful quilts. Have fun.

I just want to add that her patterns are a thing to get lost in and enjoy doing, relax and spend time with her pattern and creating your own beauties from her patterns, There is a zen to her work. Be the quilt!

peace
