Still waiting on my machine. I was sure he said it had shipped last Friday. Well, maybe with the weekend in there and New Year's, it will show up Monday. Yes, I have called and checked with them. Right now I have 3 quilt tops pieced and 1 wall hanging ready to get quilted as soon as I get a little practice.

Here's a question for all you computer quilters. How do you place the subsequent rows for pantograph quilting after you have the first row quilted? I've been looking online for tutorials or videos on how to do this. Even looked at different quilt cad websites.

Thanks. Chris

Oh, wow! What fun! I wish I were brave enough (and had the funds) to do something like that on a whim. I am still figuring out the Brother Innovis I bought about 8 years ago!

try this pdf and see if it is helpful. I am having trouble posting the link but if you google search Perfect Pantograph Patterns you can find the pdf

actually you size the pattern and the computer figures the rows ...row two interlocks with row one, etc.

before the computer there was a paper 'ruler' you unrolled and marked all the starting places for the pantograph and then you took it off and lined up on the marks for stitching each row....this was using a laser to follow the pantograph...only ever used the wooden one that you steared thru once...it was cluncky, but that was then this is now.

Thanks BeckyB, but I'm using a computer quilting program.

Thanks SunlitenSmiles, that helps. I suppose after I have my machine and computer all hooked up together everything will fall in place. I can only go so far on just my computer without the sewing machine and frame all hooked together.
