Great Find at Goodwill!
 

Hello all,

Stopped at one of my favorite thrift stores yesterday and found a OLFA Lip edge ruler for ..........are you ready for this...........$0.99! I couldn't believe it! What a score!

You never know what you will find at goodwill, they have no idea what these kind of things are nor do they know they are so pricey to buy. A little bonus for us quilters.

Nice score! A few years back I found 20 yards of fancy black lace tulle at a Goodwill for $7. The cashier asked me what I was going to do with it, as she had her eye on it. Unfortunately items needed to be out for one full day before employees can buy them. At the time I had no clue what I was going to use it for. Just used it the other day to cover our grapevine on our fence, so the birds would not eat all of our grapes. Finally used it for something. Just had to wait ~8 years.

Newbie Alert, what is a lip edge ruler and what do you use it for? Are they sorta like an add a 1/4 ruler used for paper piecing.
