Wash with some borax added to your detergent, put 1/2 cup of white vinegar in where you normally add bleach
Spoken from experience.... |
I had the same thing happen to a quilt I was making for my sons girlfriend. Everything was already in strips. I went ahead and sewed the blocks together, then washed.
It seems like I can relate to to all these stories! |
Resolve has a Pet Oxi Advanced with Odor Stop that is made for carpet stains when pet urinate on them. I use it all the time for my dog who just hasn't gotten the idea that my green carpet is not grass!
The back of the product states that is it is safe to use on wool nylon or other synthetic carpets. I have sprayed it on some material that she got into and it and then I washed it. It worked! Worth a try. |

I started noticing an odor, could not figure out where it was coming from. Turns out, the little runt (weighs 6 lbs) had lifted his leg on the end of the bolt-- the fabric is mottled, so it was not noticed even with some scrutiny. I really did not want to wash the whole bolt, so now I'm cutting, and hand washing those strips that were affected as I go.
I can tell you now, that there is nothing quite like the smell of warm ironed dog pee......and he's my daughter's dog! |
Very darling looking Jackson. Getting him neutered should stop peeing on things. He is maor than likely doing it other places too. I would not have a dog or cat over the age of 6 months without it it being spayed or neutered. Sorry just my opinion.

He is neutered....

One day, WAAAAAAAY down the future you may laugh about this.
