I always like a frame and suggest one of the brightest colors like red.

piano keys would look nice.. or even 2x2 square borders to 'outline it'

I think a black would frame the quilt beautifully which such a beautiful quilt deserves.

Should I just add a black border and keep it simple or I was thinking of taking the strings and going around the top to follow the color wheel or does anyone have a different option?

I think the black. That is a beautiful quilt. Maybe as someone suggested earlier some prairie points or would that be just too much? It is going to be beautiful whqatever you do.

O.k. you lost me on this one. I understand the piano keys and black border but not the other three. Just what is the adding machine tape or newsprint or telephone book pages? Gerbie

I would use a solid color border, maybe black or navy blue?

Narrow black border and scrappy binding that has same colors as quilt.

I think the black border in black would be great. It would set off the center wonderfully.

WOW! It is already stunning. I am sure how ever you decide to finish this beauty it will be extraordinaire.
