Either one would work......I am curious about the pattern.....a jelly roll thing????? looks like fun......

I like #1 the best for comfort and #2 for the contrast and pop. So both would work.

When I hear "tradewinds" I think of a tiny island in the ocean, so the light blue fabric seems better suited to me.

And yes, I used a batik jelly roll from Moda called Dancing in the Rain. |

I am working on the Tradewinds pattern and can't decide which batik to use as the "background". I think I like them both, but don't want to start cutting till I'm sure. Which would you choose?

I like the first one.

I like No. 1 as it complements the batiks and lets them take center stage, while the white pops and the batiks don't shine as much. Gorgeous fabric by the way, but I'm partial to batiks. Look forward to seeing what you decide.
