Default Quilt Books - what are some of your favorites?

I bought a book that I find very interesting. It called 5,500 Quilt Block Designs, by Maggie Malone. This book does not tell you how to make the block, but most you could figure out. What I like about the book is that the book tells you the name of all of the blocks.

Makes a good book for my coffee table. Interesting to look through while watching TV

What are some of your favorites Quilt books?

in trying to find a block I thumbed thru BH&G's 501 Quilt Blocks, a book filled with pieced and applique block on many subjects -- so many ideas for blocks with patterns!!

I really like "Big Book of Scrap Quilts" by oxmoor house. You used to get these used really inexpensively on Amazon, but the price has gone up! some instructions, but you need to have some quilting experience.

I also like Pam Bono's "Big Book of Quick Rotary Cutter Quilts". You can still get them used pretty cheaply on amazon.

Quilting Designs from the Amish by Pepper Cory. Every single quilt I have made has a quilting pattern form that book in it somewhere!

I really don't have a favorite book, but I like Lynette Jensen's designs for Thimbleberries. I have several of her books. You might say that I'm a bookaholic when it comes to quilts. I still need patters and instructions. Maybe someday I'll design my own.

Any of Judy Martins books, Scrap Quilt books and books by Kim Diehl, and I think I have every Thimbleberries book that ever came out.
