    Did you go to Golden Lake right near there? Her fabric is worth the trip from Buffalo. Anytime anyone wants to go to Penn Yann, I am more than willing to jump in the car!

    Iswan - Ada moved last winter to her new store - she is now located between Penn Yan and the Windmill. On 14A, across from the Produce Auction house, not far past Oak Hill. Better location, bigger store, more windows (but still in a pole barn, lol!). Didn't want you to head towards Briggs-Spicer in Himrod to find she's no longer there.

    Your day sounded wonderful and filled with fun! I was born and raised in New York and miss the fall... my favorite time of year. Thanks for sharing your story!

    I've always wanted to go up there to the Amish Mennonite goods and fabrics but I don't think hubby would like to pay for round trip flights from S. Texas then rent a car just to travel & buy fabrics & how would I ship any furniture I just had to have

    i dont know. ive taken some crazy trips for fabric, but this would be 5 1/2 hours. definately overnight. i printed out the map also. thank you. any other great spots on the way up or down?
