    Default Sashing Question .

This is my first post so hope all goes well.
Do you think this sashing is to wide? It is 3 inches
and the block is nine and a half.

i think it looks alright- it would not look good if it were 4", since 4 is (awkward) with 9", but 3" works well with 9" i love your blocks!

I like it. One third the block size is a common sashing size. I'm working on a quilt right now with those exact dimensions. The pink is a great color.

It looks perfectly balanced to me. Very pretty.

I think it just depends on the look you're going for. I generally prefer sashing that isn't so wide, but I think yours looks pretty, especially with the cornerstones.

The size is fine. Your sashing gridwork, because of the color impact, tends to overpower the blocks a bit. For that reason only, I would probably go with a narrower sashing. Remember, however, in every quilt, the rule is, "your quilt, your way". You have done a fine job of coordinating the sashing/cornerstone fabrics with your very precise, well made blocks.

Looks good to me, love the colors. Your quilt will be beatuiful when you are finished.

I agree that because of the color it is a bit too wide.
