Has anyone had this problem???? HELP PLEASE
I have a Janome1600P QC on a Little Gracie Frame. I am working on a panograph and I sew a few stitches and my Needle thread gets caught in my presser foot and then it tightens up on the presser foot and it will not move across the quilt.I always stop and cut the bobbin and needle thread off after a few stitches. I had this problem a few weeks ago and i noticed the door on the bobbin was left opened , this was not the case today. I notived that it had skipped some stitches when this happens. It has a sure stitch regulator on the machine. Any help would be appreciated.

Try totally unthreading both the top and bobbin threads, then re-threading ... including removing the spool of thread and the bobbin.
Sometimes there's just a little "oops" in how it's threaded and that's all it takes to solve a problem!

i have the same set up. make sure you have the bobbin in right
and pushed in until it snaps in place. and then also rethread every thing.
i dont think you have your bobbin in all the way. good luck

Thanks QuiltE and Joset. I noticed my thread was hanging on the bar that goes into the first guide, I rethreaded and made sure the thread was pulling through smoothly, also my bobbin may not have been snapped in also I found it was hard to get it to snap in. after three tries i heard it snap, may need to get that checked out. Turned the machine on and it worked like a charm... I will be watching out for those things if it happens again. THANKS SO MUCH!!!!

Glad that you got it all sorted out. Sometimes it's just our own "operator error" for not catching these little things.
So many times, I've not understood what was wrong .... and after a re-thread it was all good.
So now, more times than not I do the re-thread before I even start to diagnose!
And it's usually a timesave!!!!!
