No I don't get that, but I do get a sore back, I've tried raising my chair or the table, but I still get a pain in my back!

Years ago, I read an article about machine sewing and posture-- said if your machine is in a cabinet, raise the back legs of cabinet about an inch. DH cut me some 1" by 4" squares and put back legs on them. Really makes a difference as the machine sits at a slight tilt. A good chair is essential too.

A friend suggested using the left foot on the pedal instead of the right to bring the body in line with the needle. I now alternate as I sew and it does make a difference.

I've been having problems with pain while sitting. In my secretary chair in the sewing room I can only sit for a little while. Maybe I should see my doctor.

I leaned forward to pick up pins and my chair rolled out from under me. I was black and blue on one check and thigh, still have a hematoa. I now have purchased one of those magnetic wands to pick up pins.
