Default US Olympic Athlete's Opening Clothing "American Patchwork Quilt" Inspired

Per Ralph Lauren, this year's US Olympic athlete's opening clothing was inspired by "Americana Patchwork Quilts"! What a fun, colorful red, white and blue design and so nice to see quilting recognized worldwide!!

well that's better than one time I watched and saw these very large people, thinking they must be Russian or some other Country, baggy clothing, large bodies. Didnt' look like athletes at all. It was the U.S. athletes. boy!!

I too saw the preview of the opening ceremony clothing... and had the same reaction! When they said "inspired by a long American tradition .. quilting" I smiled and thought "Yippee".

Am I the only one that thinks they are ugly? I think the sweaters look like ugly Christmas sweaters. At least they are made in the USA.
