A picture is worth a thousand words! It would be wonderful to see a picture of your quilt. I'm one not to waste a quilt top!

Come show us a picture how can we give you help without seeing it. Plus my advice would be fiinish the quilt. You said the colors aren't you but they are colors for who you are making it for. So thats your answer. Finish it for THEM not you. If you still don't like it and don't think they will donate it.
