What small quilt projects are you working on today? I thought this would be a cool thread.

I am going to start making some potholders, trivets, oven mitts, etc.

I cut batting and backing so I can pin and start to quilt my latest project tomorrow. I've been practicing FMQ so wish me luck. (Still can't get the hang of it LOL)

I just made two potholders yesterday, and an applique cat from the FatCat site just for fun today, have no idea what I'll do with it. lol!!
I finally got my DDIL's argyle quilt top done, and need to get backing for it, and fabric for my son's 'birthday quilt', so it was kind of nice just making some things for fun! :)

    New York Beauty PP blocks.

First time for me PP, I'm quite enjoying it too.

When I need to work on a small project I work on my Grandmothers Flower Garden. Just little hexagons.

Today I am going to do a reverse applique block. I'm learning to quilt and this is lesson 5. My directions really don't explain what that back piece of material is suppose to look like. I don't know if it's suppose to be the same size as the block or just alittle larger than the cutout. So right now I'm looking for directions that clarify that.

I'm going to use up some scraps today and hopefully finish my locker hook rug. (But I have to admit, I'm online trying to find a fabric store open on Sunday)

Working on borders for a queen size quilt. Making a braid. I have 2 done, 1 with abut 3 more rows of blocks and then the last one to do. I figure I will finish them to day and tomorrow start attaching. I'd like to have this quilt top ready to send out by end of week. (UFO #1 of the year!)

Might pull another UFO- a table runner to do for some easy satisfaction of finishing a project. Only 6 more UFOs to get off my list!
