Welcome to the Quilting Board!

Are you making quilted gifts for you mom for Mother's Day?
Yes I made a kimono quilt for mom. Ty guys for keeping it a secret! Lol. I put the binding on and my son is making the label. It came out great. Didn't take more pics as u saw most of it already!!
Won't she be suprised!!!!!
Hope to get a table runner done.
Yes. Mom loves cats and one day on pastimes I saw free pattern for the cats meow by south seas. It's bright and colorful just as she likes so I am making it for her. Had hard time finding the panel for it, looked everywhere online, no luck. Went to Pensacola the other day, used to live there, anyway, stopped at A&E store and they had it, yeah. It is the best place for fabric, they have so much. Anyway, she is out of town cruising till the end of may so I have extra time to make it and surprise her when she gets home.
yep, after 39 quilts, its time to make one for MIL
Mother's day of which year???? Surely not 2011!
No Mom, but will make some things for my sister and friends.
Thinking about the Walker Bag. I don't think she likes quilts too much since the 1st & only one i made her has been crammed in a closet for years.
that is a good idea

the bf's mom is getting that rotary cutting starter set - got it on sale a couple of weeks ago for $13!!! She's mentioned a few times she wants to try quilting (she's an avid seamstress) so I might dig out a couple of easy patterns and hand it all over...
