Vacation over, time to get back to work. Jabba, TG, I love my blocks. Flowergurl, your blocks look great, just remember to have fun. IMHO, if you're not having fun doing this, then why do it? Now to start playing with the fabrics.

It is fun, but also scary. I'm doing it for the first time and learning new blocks.
I'm moving out of my comfort zone to learn and grow.

Swoosh!....Ok...I am back on the grid! Daughter and grandchildren arrived here last Monday. We had a big storm and killed the wireless Modem and Direct TV DVR dead!...on Tuesday! Between U-Verse, AT&T and Direct TV....they are all tied for 1st place in the in the race for the most poorly trained employees on the planet! When they told me they would send me a new Modem and DVR and we could install it...."It's easy" she said.......I knew we were in for a lasting experience. I now understand how technically challenged adults over 65 actually are! I could go on but I won't. Too behind .....moving on!

Here is finished block for Travelinggramma! making a second with what I have left...now that my confidence is waxing!

Finishing block for Terriamn......in the meantime...I asked my daughter to select one of the F8s in my binder that she was most drawn to....and she selected Lucky_alf2...so she read the instructions and went about choosing a pattern and coordinating fabric. Here is what she selected for you, Lucky.... I would fussy cut the purple butterfly fabric to blend black and white lettering.

What do you think" ... I am loving it! Let me know Lucky_Alf2 and I will finish it!

Actually I got a little aggressive on the cropping on the photo (mood left over from last week!) Well to top it off....it has rained all week so they couldn't get in the pool either .....complete withdrawal....we all had to play games and talk...was that interesting....I found out a lot I didn't even know
