The perfect day to sew it's overcast and not an outside play in the lake day and usually that means I can sit outside and sew on the picnic table but there is a 30 mph wind so that won't work either. Nice vacation so far, our fur baby is healing very quickly, we have been boating, gone floating 3 or 4 times, had several impromptu barbeques and today we took a nice long drive, had lunch and stopped at a small but great little quilt shop. Bought my second row by row kit. Hope everyone had a great Independnce Day

Sounds like Lucky & Terriamn have been having some fun vacationing! Nice to have a bit of a break! I'll be going to San Diego in a few days! Should be a nice break.

Nice color choice for Jaba flowergurl. I'm probably going to have to buy a nice pastel to go with Jaba's.

Here is my paper pinwheel block for Cuppy!

Thanks Muse, but i gave Jaba 3 color choices and that was the one she picked. So i must give her some of the credit.
I like your pinwheel block, i must put that on my list to make.
BTW, you all can shorten my username of FG, or Flower, in case you don't want to type out the whole thing.
I will answer to about anything. LOL

Hee, Hee okay FG, but want you to know it's perfect....nice and soft, simple colors that blend. I love that for this quilt. Thank you so much!

Well my turn to go on vacation for a couple weeks. So sorry I will not be in town when Muse is here. Are you going to Comic Con? If I had planned ahead I could of rented out my house. When I get back in a couple of weeks will be able to dive in and play with everyone's fabric.

So I will check back in a couple weeks as I will be at sea diving with no computer or phone access.

All these wonderful vacations you all are experiencing - enjoy to the utmost. of course we are on Stay-cations cause we just move to wherever and enjoy the time there!!
Yesterday was my last ocean day. I love love love the ocean - jumping the waves, diving in them, swimming out past the breakers, reckless and free. I gave up caring what people think of an old overweight women playing like a kid. I grew up in salt water and love it!
But today I go for my cataract surgery. And in two weeks I get the other eye done. Thus no more diving under mega waves this summer. Didn't think about swimming when I scheduled the dates, just the fact that I will be able to drive at night. Watch out for next year!!
Finishing up tying a quilt from the last boom together, then bind it. then back to the blocks.

Quilt Addict hope your vacation is fun! I'm not going to the comic con. My kids would love to go though. It's my 35th anniversary & the kids all pooled together & gave us a trip! Very sweet of them. Hoping to see the beach while I'm there traveling grandma! Hope that your surgery goes well.
