Bee I love my family but have found I am set in my ways and enjoy my life. Oldest dd is here, she is in her 40's and on Her own and there is little room for compromise in her life. The rest of us all tip toe around her and make faces at each other. I know shame on us. Tomorrow she leaves for 9 days and then will come back for a week. It has just been one thing after another this summer. Boring is wonderful

Terri......sounds like our lives are similar in many ways........my DH has developed a whole new language using facial expressions without speaking a word! It has been challenging for sure! I am the peace keeper, destroying any and all potential for conflict before it happens.......wow...that's tiring! I miss them, but I am thankful for the space to re-charge.

Sue must have kicked her heels up doing the can can the way her skirt is tilted up in the back. Funny it didn't look like that on the ironing board! Oooo La La

Thanks y'all. I had seen a "sewing Sue" embroidery pattern and hoped I could copy it enough to at least resemble the idea.

One left to do!!!

Today is one of the rare and incredibly beautiful days in Minnesota. Not muggy, light breeze and 68 degrees. No way i am going to go down the basement to sew. It is also the first day of school here. I drove to the dentist and it was fun to see parents taking pictures of the little ones off to their first day of the year. My granddaughter started her first day of public school, she is in 6 th grade and has previously attended a Montessori school 3 days a week and was home schooled 2 days a week. This is a major change for her. So hoping it will work out. Her younger brother is home schooled and her little sister will start her kindergarten homeschooling expierence on Monday. Lot's of new expierences for their little family

Moon, a wonderful block! Thank you for helping to make this boom the most "out of the box" Boom yet. So much thought and effort has really gone into many blocks. Thanks to all.
