If you mean boiled carrots, can't blame you they are nasty. But sauted in butter w/ garlic and pepper, they are awesome!

I do miss eating raw broccoli and carrots. Since stomach surgery 5 years ago no fresh corse veggies for me. When I have oriental food have to ask for the food to be overlooked. Disgusting but the only way my tummy will accept it.

AWWWW kass still have to say a big fat no way.

OK ladies I need some help I need to make several flying geese units that finish at 1"x2" I wanted to try the pp method when I went online to print a sheet of them the only site I found that had that size is quilt blocks galore.......problem is I can't get it to print out at the right size..it's either too small or to large I have tried printing directly off the site I've tried saving as a pdf then printing still can't get it right. Any tips on that one? or do you know of another place I can get that size?

Check and make sure your printer is set to print actual size. I make mine using either the 4 or 8 at a time method. Works well for me.

I would just draw it out. A rectangle 1.5 x 2.5 (marking the outer 1/4 seam allowance) drawing a triangle from center point top just under seam allowance to each lower corner.

You gals are pretty fun with all of the garden talk! My dad loved beets, so beets remind me of him.

I live in an area where it's hard to grow vegtables. Very windy, bad soil, etc. I always plant a few tomato's etc. This year there has been a heat wave & everything is growing at a slow rate. Oh well.

So traveling grandma. I've never heard of a campground that comes with a quilting room? That's amazing. DO you really have machines, cutting tables & everything all set up ready for you to go quilt?
