Remember boomers - please mention the person's QB name when you receive their f8, send their block, and receive their block. I try to keep track of all of these so they don't get lost!

Curious Question - do you all make alot of the same block? Do you find different pattern for each material?

I have downloaded a pile of blocks from quilters cache and all over that I would like to make.
Then I look at the fabric, see what fabrics I have to match it, then look at them with my pile.

Traveling, I try to NOT make the same block in a swap unless I absolutely love it, then I will. I have about a 2 ft pile of printed out patterns so have a LOT to choose from and love getting "new" blocks back! Today I got F8's from dahna42, Lovingisabella (blushing), Nana Kathy, Roseirish, travelinggramma, twinriversfarm and urgodschild. Janet, is your fabric black or dark blue? Its hard to tell with my lighting! black ALWAYS challenges me! All are beautiful fabrics!! Has anyone else noticed theres not too much "green" fabric sent...or is it just my imagination, being NOT a green fan?

You know you have a lot of squishes when you get a text-photo from husband about what you got in the mail. The following was in the bundle: urgodschild2, TwinRiversFarm, NanaKathy55, TravelingGramma, RoseIrish, OldCatLady, The MommaHouser and Elisabrat.

I try not to make the same block for every fabric. Some fabrics tell me what I need to do and others are just happy to grow-up and be pretty. I am finding that I like to applique and look for that special fabric to tell me so.

I Just returned from the po. I had a special box just for my mail! I received squishies from: moonshine, jaba, LJDugas31, moonwork, Elisabrat, lovingIzabella, urgodschild2, RosaTish48, Abbysmom, and oldcatlady, twinriverfarm, Dahna, and three others but I will see if I can find their board names. If I can't find that info, I received envelopes from Boonville MO, Great Falls MT, and Macon GA. These fabrics are all so great! I'm resisting the urge to go shopping! LOL
