oh I thought your partner mailed already? (like my memory is worth anything).. its so hot here is it cooking on the east coast too? CA is cooking WY is cooking as most of the western states.. I am so spoiled I used air conditioning for the last few years so it never affected me much. today I am using fans and a long kitchen towel gifted to me by quiltermomma at Christmas and its soaked in cold water with ice cubes in the center, all rolled up and wrapped around my neck. this is good, very very good

Sent and received my wall hangings. Jacie requested that i post pictures, as she cannot. So here goes.
The first is what she sent me, a beachy theme, fits to a tee!! Very lovely runner, will be on my trunk in the living room for all to see. I also love love love the cross stitch hangings!! I'm thinking the sun room will love them. And you can NEVER have too many needles!! Thank you soo much for the great swap.
The second is what I sent her. For some reason, mine always end up larger than I anticipate. This one is screaming "picnic table". I hope she likes it. The bag is my own creation, made from fabric sample books. the bag from a velvety material and the flower from a more satiny book. Yellow is my favorite color, so I hope it is not too yellow for your taste, Jacie.
