Just received my last package from Laquita and it's just awesome!! She sent 3 pretty fabrics, a notepad, a cross stitch piece that I *think* is a bookmark but will be displayed with my other notions and goodie, a cute scissor holder stuffed with the giant size roll of Smarties and an awesome yo-yo top that is hand made.....I had seen a yo-yo mini in patriotic colors about a month ago but didn't get....really wanted it so I went back TODAY to see if they had any left and if they were even marked down since the 4th passed and they were totally sold out...I was bummed....then I got home and there's my package and right on top is the yo-yo in patriotic colors YIPPEE!!!!!!Thanks again Laquita!

~ adorable yo-yo topper. i think it takes a lot of patience to work with my postage stamps but to do yo-yo's... i know it has to take some patience.
~ off topic alert: i wonder as parents will we ever secretly stop silently cringing inside with some of the decisions that our children make. i was just talking with my daughter and i think i am having shudder after effects. lol
she wants to marry the "perfect" man (her words). i'm gonna bang my head on my door jamb a coupla times, take some aleve and get back in the conversation later.

Feeling your frustration, Havplenty. Yes, sometimes I wonder if my DS really uses the brain given to him. LOL His latest "what are you thinking"....moving into a place that only has 2 weeks left before the girl there has to move. So where is he planning to live after the two weeks are up??? What can I say, I am only his mother.

Segal, i wish you all the best with yiur dog. I think we all love our furbabies, i can only imagine how special this animal will be to you, what a wonderful addition to your family.
All the pkgs are so great. We are camping this weekend, but brought my projects with, and will mail tomorrow. It is going to an "M" state.
