I received such a nice pkg from Nancy in Louisiana yesterday. I think the gift of the year is a bendable, flexible, Sun-hat with a huge brim that folds up into a flat circle and slips inside a case. It folds up to about the size of a coffee can lid. What a hoot ! My DH actually did hoot when I handed it to him to take out of the case....what fun ! Also got stationary, a pen with blue flowers, fabulous stack of FQ in shades of blue, note pad to put on the fridge, a tote bag pattern, and a lovely paperweigth, and lastly a cute pair of tweezers. Thanks sew much Nancy.

Hey Krystyna, Go for it! What a great opportunity for you. He/She is kind of cute, don't you think. I can just see you strolling on the boardwalk. What a sight!

Good Saturday Afternoon to all! Got a great package in the mail yesterday from sweetwaterquilter. Sorry no pic right now but let me see if I can describe everything for you.

We start with a Sewology purple knit picker, a box of Wyler's Light in Cool Raspberry, a nice blue/green notes pad, a Quilt Journal, a very cool McCall's crafts pattern for a supplies tote, pincushion and machine apron (this one really intrigues me - future project!), a book - Irish Chain by Earlene Fowler (haven't read this one - on the night stand it goes), a Pretty Triangles book with all kinds of patterns using HST, a pack with 4 homemade coasters in teal and brown (love them - they match my sewing room perfectly), 3 FQ of very nice blues, 2 of pinks and 1 green.

Almost forgot my sweet treat - peanut butter bars (an old fashioned favorite) and then last but not least is a beautiful red velvet strawberry pincushion. What more could a girl ask for!!

Thanks again Gail for a great package!

Well, my package is off to Big Sky Country -- a state that I would love to live in if I were 30 years younger since it seems like somewhere I could have great adventures and perhaps go bareback riding on the elk. SP, I was so late that I didn't get to make as many goodies as I wanted to ... but ... there are some earrings in there for you! I think I will make an extra package to send along later on ...
