Monthly Quilting Bee-Version lll
#2013
Morning Texastam. If you will go to the 1st page of this, you will see the 'rules' of this swap. I am the moderator, and just let me know by PM if you are interested in joining. We can chat there. It is a fun group, lots of pretty blocks are made. This is a monthly swap, I do the partnering on the 1st of each month. We'd be glad to have you join.

This is only meant for those who don't know where I live. I live on Randolph Airforce Base, My mail goes to a mailing address only and I pick up once a week...this sat at the PO for 2 weeks and if the nice lady who works there didn't know me personally it would have been returned to sender. She paid the 49 cents and I paid her back...no big deal! But we all need a reminder now and then that if it does not go through that little window on their size chart..it will cost more then 66 cents.( I think anything bigger than a legal size envelope won't fit)
That being said, the block inside the envelope was absolutely beautful and well worth the 49 cents! Thank you partner very much!

Glad you received it.. Thanks for bringing up the subject of making sure the correct postage is rendered. Sometimes it's better to add that extra stamp to make sure your pkg. arrives. How about a pic of the block?

I am mailing out the block for Mike'sgirl today. It has been H O T here in Omaha!! UGH!
I have one more project to wrap up for a swap for the month here on the board and then I may cut back to this one and the fabric post card. At least until I get caught up on other time demanding UFOs.

I will be doing my partner's block today, and should go out tomorrow to (sunrise450). It is a slow rainy day today which is nice after so much hot weather. Making my block today will be perfect, because I like sewing when it is raining. I have all my other commitments finished so I feel more relaxed for this one today.
Huskyquilter that is a beautiful block you made for Ljptexas. I have started working a bit more on practicing foundation paper piecing. It's a bit tricky at first, but looks so pretty. Once I understand it though it is fun. I am wanting to get me one of those special 1/4 " rulers for it, but it's not necessary. (would be nice though) lol...
Have a great day everyone!
