Singersewer: what do you want to accomplish with your rearrangement? Are you keeping your quilting in the master bedroom? Did you want to divide the two spaces?

OK, green with envy, though I am still thankful for having a separate room, yours is already pretty much perfect!

That is a great sewing studio you have there. Very nice and relaxing looking too.

I have lots of open space UNTIL the ironing board goes up and then the space diminishes quickly. Since the picture, I have done a flip flop of the room. I had changed it to the layout in the pictures and thought it would work but the sewing machine and embroidery machine were too close together. The embroidery machine couldn't be moved back because of the built in storage. I wanted the table in front of the sewing machine for cutting and to hold the quilt when I was stitching.

I am just open to any and all suggestions. The wall not shown has the TV.

Also the chair by the quilting system is probably from the 50s. I have thought about recovering it but the upholstery is great on it so it remains retro. I love the chair and usually use it when using the serger.

I like your room. The last photo of the tan, red and blue fabrics seem to be saying "Let us out! It's crowded in here! We want to be in a quilt!!!!" LOL!

What a wonderful set up, and a great idea so that you and your DH can spend time together.

Singer what a wonderful and big room. The coach is begging for a draped quilt in it! to show your skills and you can mount a big design wall (best idea ever).

Bonnie hunter has storage units with drawers under her longarm.

if you like you could see my sewing room in the link http://www.quiltingboard.com/members...bums18929.html

enjoy your fantastic space.

Nice storage. Ive got a lawyer's bookcase that stands 6ft tall that I store my batiks in all color coordinated. It's like a decorating element in the room.
