OK....let's update this thread just a bit :D
At this point, we plan to have our get together on Friday/Saturday; March 4th & 5th. Now, before we chose a location, I thought it would be helpful to get a list of folks who feel they will be able to attend and their locations so we can look for a centralized location.

Also, I wanted to update you on a couple of other opportunities for getting together with your board friends. First, Crafty Bear has set up a meet and greet for October 19th in Amish Country in Indiana. For more information, please follow this link:
http://www.quiltingboard.com/t-63908-1.htm

Another great opportunity for those in the Kentucky area is the American Quilter's Society Quilt Show in Paducah, KY. in April 2011. My understanding is that this is a HUGE show and very worth a trip to be there. Here is the information:
AQS Quilt Show & Contest - Paducah, Kentucky
Paducah Expo Center
April 27-30, 2011
http://www.americanquilter.com/shows.../general_info/

If ya'll want to consider doing the AQS show in April rather than getting together in March, just let me know.

Thanks so much

Of course you know I'm gonna say yes to the AQS because I'm near Paducah. So that is me being selfish.

I tried to get hotel/motel reservations last year in August and there was not a room to be had. I haven't looked this year, but I bet it is just as bad.

that date is okay with me. I'm in Lexington. Paducah would be pretty much out for me simply because I can't do all that much walking, but I know others would enjoy that tremendously.

Oh my.....I will begin looking in to that right away. Has anyone been to the Paducah show? What is it like? Is it a "walk through at your own pace" kind of thing or are there like certain events scheduled at certain times?
Thanks! :-D
