March would be better for me. Staying over night would be iffy. Would depend if hubby had the weekend off to watch the 2 older kids but eli would have to come with me for an over night event. Lexington is a 4 to 5 hour drive from here.

This sounds like so much fun. I am in the northern part of KY but could come anywhere. March is OK with me except the weekend of the 12th, that is my son's birthday weekend. I will keep checking this thread!!!

I think late Feb or early mar would be good. The bad weather should be done with by then. Overnight would be good.

Well, I am not opposed to it being in Lexington. I'm sure the ladies at Quilters Insight would love to have me again after today's total cost for quilting fabric. Yup, and to think, I had an apartment just down the street from the shop when I was in college at UK there. And yes, let me know of the location, I have an SUV (Outlander), so I'm not afraid to share a ride with someone.

I would prefer it to be a day trip but realize it might not be possible. It would be nice to meet right smack dab in the middle of Ky so no hard feelings!!! lol wonder where that is??

Well, it does render a great opportunity to find some really neat little quilt shops tucked away in the winding folds of Kentucky's landscape. That is how I've found some of the neatest stuff for quilts, and some new friends along the way. :D I'm in either way.
