That's a great idea. Remember the weather will be getting bad later in the year. I probably live farther away. Louisa-- Greenbo State Park has beautiful fall scenery, but probably already booked up. Just let me know what everyone decides and I will try to come.

I am interested also. Feb. would work good, after the holidays and I am having a new granddaughter Nov 11th so will busy with that. I am babysitting my grandson while my daughter is in the hospital.
This sounds like fun! Hope we're able to pull it off.

Forgot to mention that Lousiville has some great quilt shops. There are all different and very nice, plus they have Joann's, Hobby Lobby and Michael's. Just a thought.

I'd be interested but not sure how far I am willing to drive ALONE. If anyone else is near Bowling Green that would like to carpool then I'd be more comfortable going a bit farther.

I probably would prefer to do an overnight rather than drive several hours each way with a time change all in one day. Gotta have some energy left for the shopping!!!

ETA - don't forget that Whittles is VERY close to Bowling Green! And I know the way

In Louisville is the Happy Heart Quilt Shop. The ladies are so very nice. Meredith does my quilting for me. They have lots of beautiful fabric and always good sales.

OK....based on the feedback so far here are some choices to consider and decide upon before moving forward....for those who needed carpool, let's just assume for now that you WILL have a ride with someone. So...

A. Since many are coming a long way, do we want it to be overnight?
B. February seems to be a good month or would we rather go for March to avoid any strange KY winter storms?

Now...everyone give me your feedback on these 2 issues and we can go from there...I'm getting SO EXCITED!!!!! :D

Overnight would be okay with me as would a day trip.
February and March would be okay... depending on the weather and if it is a weekend.
