Beautiful quilt - IMH..H..O, some fabrics look to be later than 1930. Still a great deal and great find.

What a beauty! I also think the fabrics are later than the 30's. I really love older quilts! Thanks for sharing :D

I just love that you made this into a quilt!! So many times tops are left as they are, which I think is a waste of fine work.

I love this old quilt. It's full of character!!

well, you all may be right about newer material. i have no idea. i was only going by what the appraiser in the quilt shop told me. and it wasn't a paid for appraisal. i was hand quilting it in the motor home as we traveled, and i was ready to add a border. i went into the quilt store and took it with me, to ask the opinion of anyone that was willing to give it. they went and got the 'expert'. and she told me not to put a border on it. to leave it as it was. she was amazed that i had hand quilted it. didn't tell her it had sat in the frame for like 3 yrs 3/4 done. not until i retired did i finish it. i think i acquired it oh,,,, in the 90's.

it is beautiful. It is nice to think that the lady who made it would be happy to see her work is being appreciated.
