Default Ever Had Your Quilt "Talk" To You?

I decided to start quilting on this top yesterday. Tried two different patterns and each time I had the loops on the back, the top thread wasn't taut enough or something else went wrong. I finally decided enough was enough and got out my hand quilting hoop. I'd forgotten how relaxing it was while sitting in the livingroom with my family and quilting away. It may take me a year to finish it but so happy I listened.

I know how you feel because I had the same experience! A few more weeks and I should be done. I have enjoyed the project too. That's a very pretty quilt by the way. It look like your doggie approves as well!

I have quilts talk to me all the time!! Most recently after a coworker had her first grandchild "Lily". I keep a closet dedicated to quilted items ready for gifting and there was a baby quilt that had really cute frogs on it and they said they wanted to go live at Lily's pad.

What an adorable quilt! I'm so glad you did it by hand...I know the quilt tells me it wanted to be that way!
