You're right. My original post of "Fading Footprints" outlines how I did the paintings of the animals and how I made the quilt. I like to see how someone made something as well as the end product and I thought others might like it too. I usually take a lot of pictures of my projects from start to finish and that way I can show someone how I did it.

It is not. This is my mom/dad married on June 18, 1966. I just gave this wall hanging to my parents for their 50th about 4 weeks ago. The portrait was done in colored pencils, then I painted the background with a brown ink, then I quilted it. The blocks are machine applique from Affair of the Heart quilt by Aie Rossman. Its seemed appropriate to use those as a border.
