Just wanted to share a few pictures of a small wholecloth table topper I hand quilted, especially since the designer (Holice) actually belongs to this board. It was a fun little project to work on at night while sitting on the couch with hubby. Funny how I went from this size to now working on a queen-size quilt.

I should add, this was a pre-printed project. After I quilted it, I just swooshed it in cold water and the lines disappeared, to my relief. The last pre-printed one I did was black & the lines never really went away!

Thanks all! I got this one off of The Stencil Company's web site. Here's a link to the sale page: http://quiltingstencils.com/sale.aspx. It's really a great way to get your feet wet with handquilting, and in my opinion wholecloths are easier to quilt than pieced quilts because you don't have to go over any seams. All you need is your backing & batting (and, of course, binding when finished). I just really love the simplicity of handquilting. I thoroughly enjoy the process, and the more you do it the easier it gets. For those interested in learning, why not just jump in and give it a try?
