I finally got the binding finished on these two quilts today. The southwest one was made out of the ugliest fabric I had ever bought but I think it turned out better than I thought it would. The kaleidoscope one was made out of pieces from my stash and I ran so short of fabric I had to piece small bits together to finish it. I'm not crazy about the final border but that's the only purpleish fabric I had. The green leafy blocks are done with meandering free mothion and I free motioned the leaves and vines around the kaleidoscopes.

I'm spellbound. I love the kaleidoscopes. I haven't ventured into it yet. Still learning to thread the needle. But, wow, they are both a pride. TY for sharing.

Beautiful. The Southwest is a real eye catcher. Great job on both.
