Default First attempt at a quilt

Found some really cute Poodle fabric 2 years ago and have been planning since then to make a lap quilt for my boss
who raises and shows Poodles. Well I finally after 2 years got up the courage to make the attempt. I asked a couple
of my friends for help as I had never made a quilt before but we never made the time to get together, so finally the
time came to pull it together myself and brave my way thru. This is the Quilt top that I made.

    You did a great job.
Are you ready to make another one?

I've always been afraid to try attic windows because I thought it would be too hard! Great first quilt.

Thanks, I saw several mistakes in this first one, so I did the following week make another one. It was actually easier
than I thought it would be. The top is not finished in this pic, but thought I would share anyway.

I love the cat quilt. I kick myself, because I saw that fabric once, fell in love with it, but didn't know what could be done with it. Now, if I ever see it again, I will snatch it up and do it just like you did. That is absolutely awesome. For a first time quilt, you did a beautiful job.
