Those BOMs are nice, but when you multiply the months times the price, it sometimes gets pretty pricey. I have to watch my budget; and it always seems like some one is giving me fabric, so I usually steer away from the BOMs.

I did buy the Fresh Lilacs layer cake and some yardage to do MSQC Jenny Doan's Quarterfoil Quilt. I have watched the tutorial several times and I took some notes. It's free shipping today. I should order 2 more charm packs of the Fresh Lilacs.
I did that with Dear Jane. If I remember correctly it was $25. a month for two years plus software. I haven't touched it. I'm sure it would be beautiful if I worked through it; but right now I consider it a big mistake. I did the same thing with Sylvia's Bridal Quilt.

Your quilt appears to have a good start. Keep going, it's going to be beautiful.

I've made all twelve blocks, but two of them flunked my mentor's scrutiny. So here are eleven of them. I'm gaining skills what with En Provence trying to get together too.

I'm the crazy person on Ed Sullivan who had all the plates spinning at the same time. I love to have all things going on. I know that drives some people nuts, but it is who I am.

Here is my latest disaster. The quilt is ok, and then I put the purple border on and then the 2 inch beige border and then sewed the outer border on backwards. I have the right side sewed and the left is just laying there. The directions say the left is correct.

What does the board say?
