    MJ that is absolutely EXQUISITE! Small but definitely perfectly formed! I would definitely frame it and let it stand alone in isolated glory! I look forward to seeing how you quilt it. :-D

    Well, I decided to do as all suggested..stitching around the flower and leaves...and stitches from flower going out to edges of block like rays of the sun....not sure if it is too much.

    Got one half finished and my machine started balking at me.....she going in for a tune-up today...

    I will post a pic later and see what you all think........

    I made a second one because the first one's last piece added was a background color and I picked up a green...go figure.

    Didn't realize it until I had the entire block put together...and anyone doing pp knows that it's almost an impossibility to start ripping out that.
    but it did give me a practice quilting one !!!!!!!!!!

    and boy-o-boy, I surely needed to practice.
