WoW! Very nice work and I really like the colors.

I really can't think of what would add to your piece.

What about SID just around the outside of the flower petals and the leaves just to give it a quilted look but not to distract from the beauty you have already created?

I think quilting in ditch around the flower, leaves, stamens, as suggested earlier, and then do a diagonal grid in the background both ways about 1/2" apart. The centerpiece would really stand out! Really beautiful art quilt. Do you mind sharing where you got the pattern. Thanks! Dani

not at all....It it the Rocky Mountain Columbine, state flower of Colorado.

I ordered it from http://www.silverliningsoriginals.com/

They have beautiful patterns, not only of flowers but birds and animals.
