    Bea utiful! I made a tote bag using that pattern in the first layout. I thought it was going to be hard, but it was not too bad! Yours is gorgeous.

    Yes, I used a one sided iron-on interfacing the lightest one I could find.

    That is such an interesting block design. I have always loved the Jewel Box pattern. For the very first time, when looking at your WIP, I can see how this block is formed. Thank you so much.

    Both layouts are great. I'm leaning more toward the second one since it's made from ties the columns could be thought of as neckties and the hourglass could be bow ties. Just my thoughts.
