Thank you all so much for your kind comments. Now that it's more than half way done, I'm getting kind of excited to see the whole thing. Finishing it means lots more checkerboards, though. I haven't minded them a square at a time, but to sew them all together with even more checkerboards? It seems daunting. Maybe not. Time will tell, I guess.

Great work! I love the flowers. It must be nice to be retired so you can just pick up and go for months at a time. I hope we will be able to do this soon, if my husband will ever be able to retire (the economy needs to stop falling apart for it to happen first because I only work part-time in the public school system and can leave whenever!!!!). Hope you are having fun!!!
