My "Bertha Blub", Quilt for a challenge

I had participated in a challenge from the Patchworkgilde Germany. After registration I received two pieces of fabric, which had to be used in the quilt. One red piece Bali-fabric with red fishes and a blue and white checkered piece. Both pieces are approx 25 x 25 cm. The theme was, appropriately, "checkered fish"

The quilts was shown at the Patchworkdays, 2013, which were placed last weekend in Berlin.
Unfortunately I was not able to attend, but I can show you a picture of my Bertha Blub. You can see more detailed pictures on my blog.
