I think I found a clue about color in one of those quilts.
Pick a few colors to use in two or three color blocks, and then, if you need one more color, or have room for just one more color - - throw in a focus, surprise color ... scatter the surprise blocks throughout the quilt, and SHAZAMM! it looks like you had a plan all along!
How long do you think I will remember THAT little gem of ideas?
