Someone asked about this pattern a few days ago. It is an optical illusion. It is just blocks. Mine are cut from a wallpaper design (a fabric with all printed stripes). There is a wide design with two small designs on the sides of it. One block is put horizontally and the next vertically. If you look at the top next to the binding, you will see how the blocks are laid out. it looks like the seaming is not straight across but this quilt is simply solid blocks of fabric. I made the size appropriate for the size of the design on my fabric. i think these are 8" blocks.

Fast, easy and one piece of fabric to chose.

The quilt matches her living room. But I made it for her before she went into the hospital for hip surgery. I thought it would make her room more cheerful

Looks like I have to add more to my "someday" list! Looks fast if I need one in a hurry and would work great for a QAYG using the column method by Nancy Z.
