Default One Mistake Leads to Another Update

This may be the wrong forum for this, but I wanted to say that my dear husband, for whom I struggled to finish this penguin quilt, passed away at the end of April. I had the quilt in hospice house (he was there only a week). He didn't want to use it, afraid he would mess it up, so I hung it over the doors of the wardrobe so he could see it. I'm so glad I had finished it before we knew he was seriously ill. As soon as I finish the sleeve, it will hang in our (my) bedroom.

BTW: This is the last picture I have of my DH.

    ditto to the above

I am so glad that you were able to finish it 'in time' - You have a great layout of the quilt - it is very visually appealing.

My sympathy to you and your family for your loss! I am glad that you were able to get a picture of him and the quilt before his passing. I pray the picture and the quilt will bring you comfort and peace every time you look at them. God Bless!

The quilt is lovely and your hubby looked so happy with it. I'm glad he could enjoy it during his brief stay at hospice.

I'm sorry for your loss - I know it is difficult (I was a widow also). The memories, pictures and "things" like this quilt will be of great comfort to you.

God Bless and I'll add a prayer for you tonight.
